Yes I have retired from practice but I am still trying to educate women and doctors about the safety and efficacy of HRT - but there are many hurdles!
In the middle of last year oestrogen implants were taken off the market as the drug firm was not willing to replace manufacturing equipment
Then Testosterone implants also disappeared.
This represents the result of the unwarranted and savage attacks on HRT inspired by the major American studies released in 2002 and 2004 which received huge publicity in oour Press
Since then review of the studies has found the conclusions faulty, but the Press does not want to hear this and despite requests from the Australasian Menopause Society to publish the real truth
this goes unheard.
Women do not have to stop HRT after 5 years unless they have significant risk factors for heart attack and stroke or develop a breat cancer.
Oestogens do not cause breast cancer but are of course a growth factor
Read my other news articles about all this.

Thanks to all the women who saw me as patients in my menopause clinics and supported me whenI seemed to be going aginst the grain!
