Caring For Women is a unique medical practice run by Dr Margaret Smith in Perth Western Australia for the care of women. She now consults part time and gives talks and education seminars to women. She has retired from obstetrics and surgical gynaecology. The practice is based on full assessment of each individual, appropriate blood tests, bone density measurement and regular mammography.

It became apparent that the question most frequently asked by women everywhere is - “Is it ME or my hormones?” Hence the book with this title was born. This book is now published by Finch Publishers (Sydney) and is available at all bookshops.

Margaret is affectionately known to thousands of women in Western Australia as ‘Mrs Menopause’. She founded the first menopause clinic in WA in 1978, at King Edward Memorial Hospital which is now named after her.
